As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - CRE in Summit, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible throughout the property, support a welcoming environment, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
• Communicate with property management, tenants, and visitors to address concerns and provide assistance as needed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Follow all company and location-specific guidelines to help to maintain order and the well-being of occupants and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
