Security Officer - Unarmed Corporate Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Corporate Patrol in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe and report unusual activity, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance and access issues.
• Monitor access control points, observe cameras and/or alarm indicators as assigned, and report unusual conditions according to post orders and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from Allied Universal leadership and/or local responders when needed.
• Complete detailed written reports and logs, document incidents and patrol activity, and communicate clearly with client staff and Allied Universal team members during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED.
• Access Control/Badge Experience - preferred.
• Guard Card/License - preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience - preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
