As a Security Officer Unarmed Campus Patrol in San Bernardino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support visitors and staff with strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.49 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor entry requirements, and assist with directing foot traffic, deliveries, and/or appointments in accordance with location protocols.
• Prepare clear reports on daily activities, observed concerns, and/or interactions with visitors and staff, and report maintenance, hazards, and/or policy-related issues to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
