Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $3.93. The premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.

Requirements: 

• Valid Driver's License ( 1 years)
• 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, restricted areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and checkpoints, verify access permissions as required by site procedures, and document security-related events, observations, and/or daily activity.
• Assist with directing foot traffic, providing general information, and supporting order during busy periods, special events, and/or operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
