What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, front desk protocols, and site-specific policies at an aerospace and defense location.
- Monitor lobby and reception activity, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, issue access credentials as directed, and document arrivals, departures, and other front desk activity.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel as appropriate.
- Answer phones, assist with directions and general inquiries, and help support a professional front desk environment while following Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures.
- Complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent observation and adherence to posted instructions and front desk protocols.
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
