As a Security Officer - Access Control Desk in Arabi, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Allied Universal team member in an access control-focused role within a food and beverage location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Assist with access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points at the location.
• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor security-related systems such as cameras and alarms as required by site procedures.
• Document and report any incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activity according to company and site guidelines.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, coordinating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a TSA issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
