Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at the location, verify credentials and/or shipping documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to buildings, yards, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, loading and unloading areas, trailer lots, and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Support day-to-day logistics and distribution operations by communicating with staff and/or visitors, maintaining accurate access records, and following post orders for deliveries, pickups, and after-hours activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
