As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while contributing to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, including exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Report observed hazards, unusual conditions, and security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership in accordance with established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
