As a Security Officer - Tech Site Patrol Overnights in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents, and respond to reported concerns with calm professionalism. You will greet employees and visitors, support access control and incident reporting, and communicate clearly with site teams. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors and employees by following site-specific security-related procedures, access guidelines, and post orders within a tech and telecommunications location.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, reporting unusual conditions that may help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor assigned areas and systems such as cameras, alarms, and radios, documenting observations and communicating issues to site contacts per protocol.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating site-specific emergency response activities and notifying appropriate personnel as required.
- Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident documentation, and shift handoff information, following Allied Universal standards and client requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 6 months of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
