Security Officer - Spanish Front Desk

As a Security Officer - Spanish Front Desk in Los Lunas, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy front desk in a commercial real estate location, where you will welcome tenants and visitors, manage access procedures, monitor cameras and alarms, document activity, and respond to security-related concerns with calm, professional communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, guests, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the front desk.
• Control access to the location by confirming identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing arrivals to the appropriate destination.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and communications systems from the front desk and report unusual activity to the appropriate parties to help to deter unwanted behavior.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting events and completing required reports.
• Support day-to-day building operations by answering phones, relaying messages, and coordinating with property management and/or maintenance personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Have 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
