As an unarmed Officer at a busy retail and shopping district, you will complete routine vehicle and foot rounds, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support guests and tenants with directions, concerns, and service-focused communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random walking rounds of retail common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or suspicious activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site management and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
• Monitor for hazards such as obstructed walkways, unauthorized access, and/or loitering, and report concerns through required notification and documentation channels.
• Complete rounds logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information during shift turnover to support consistent post operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
