What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail property, common areas, back-of-house corridors, and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and operational concerns.
- Respond to incidents, disputes, medical calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and request law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
- Monitor and document access and activity in designated areas, assist with crowd management during peak shopping periods and special events, and support tenant concerns in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete required reports such as incident reports and shift logs, communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management, and preserve details and evidence when policy requires.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
