As a Security Officer - Shopping Center in Aurora, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and Allied Universal protocols within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with management and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout common areas, storefront corridors, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or suspicious activity, and report findings according to site procedures.
• Assist with crowd management, lost and found inquiries, and general visitor assistance while maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
