In this role, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, assist with access activities, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to site expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting conditions that could impact daily operations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, while verifying visitor, vendor, and staff activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Support healthcare and industrial locations by assisting with traffic flow, entry and exit activity, and/or direction during busy periods, deliveries, or urgent situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
