Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and appropriate emergency response activities at a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the location, including storefront areas, common spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for unusual behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns, and report issues to the appropriate contact.
• Support loss prevention and crowd management efforts by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with directional questions, and communicating with site contacts during alarms, medical calls, and/or other incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
