As an Allied Universal Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site area.
- Monitor access points and verify identification, visitor authorization, and/or delivery documentation in accordance with site requirements, reporting irregularities per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and supporting site leadership and/or first responders as directed.
- Document patrols, incidents, and unusual observations using required reports and logs, and communicate relevant updates to onsite personnel and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
- Be 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
