As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol Detail in Sterling, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.52 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an aerospace and defense environment.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, production areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify concerns for follow-up.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorization in accordance with site protocols, helping to control movement of employees, visitors, and/or contractors.
• Report hazards, maintenance issues, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel while supporting Allied Universal standards and site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
