Security Officer - Second Shift

As a Security Officer Patrol in Robards, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to each shift.

Pay Rate: $15.45 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with management, employees, and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas while reporting suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns according to site guidelines.
• Support loss prevention and access control efforts by observing customer and employee activity, documenting incidents, and completing required reports in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
