Security Officer - Second Shift

As a Security Officer Patrol in Seymour, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role offers the chance to support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with supervisors and/or site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouse spaces, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and help confirm that only authorized personnel and/or visitors enter restricted areas in accordance with location protocols.
• Support daily operations at a manufacturing and industrial location by reporting hazards, policy violations, equipment issues, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
