Job Description

As a Security Officer in Minneapolis, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic hotel and resort location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this unarmed role, you will support guests and staff through clear communication, routine patrols, and a people-first approach. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort location.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while supporting property protocols and reporting expectations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, guest-facing areas, corridors, amenities, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe on-site activity, and document security-related incidents, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns for follow-up by property leadership.
• Support hospitality operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and helping to manage high-traffic areas during peak guest activity, special events, and/or deliveries.
  
  

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
