As a Security Officer Screening Checkpoint in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening individuals and items, monitoring access points, and reporting suspicious activity. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting loss-prevention efforts. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries entering the logistics and distribution location in accordance with established access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, observe loading and sorting areas, and report unusual activity, damaged property, or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
