Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a government court location, where you will help support daily entry screening, monitor access points, and provide professional customer service and communication to visitors and staff. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, strong attention to detail, and a people-first approach grounded in teamwork, reliability, agility, innovation, and integrity.

Job Schedule:

Pre-Employment Requirement: 21 Years of Age (C101)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government court location.
• Screen visitors, staff, and/or permitted items entering the location using assigned screening equipment and established access procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels when needed.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas for unusual activity and help to deter prohibited items and/or unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter as assigned, noting and reporting security-related concerns or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
