Security Officer - Roving Foot Patrol

As a Security Officer - Roving Foot Patrol in Macedonia, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an industrial manufacturing location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain a visible presence that helps to discourage security-related incidents. You will report observations, support access control and visitor guidance, and deliver professional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking lots, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access by checking identification, visitor logs, and delivery documentation, and directing truck drivers and vendors to designated check-in and staging areas per site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and maintenance concerns, and communicate relevant information to the oncoming shift and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
