As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support security-related operations by screening visitors and team members, monitoring access points, and observing assigned areas. You will remain visible to help discourage incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, bags, and/or vehicles entering and leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed protocols.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and document screening activity, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations in required logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized access and/or prohibited items.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card is required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
