As a Security Officer - Residential Access Control Desk in Deerfield Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and supporting a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Monitor and control access to the residential location, verifying identification and credentials of residents, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting residents, visitors, and vendors with inquiries and directions.
• Perform regular and random patrols throughout the property and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and report any security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and security-related situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, observations, and any incidents or unusual occurrences.
• Communicate promptly with the Allied Universal team and site management regarding any security-related issues or emergencies.
• Support emergency response activities as needed, following site-specific guidelines and instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
