Job Description
As a Security Officer Reception in Saint Paul, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional in a healthcare setting, you will create a welcoming, professional first impression while helping visitors, patients, and staff navigate the location. You will monitor access, communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and help maintain a calm environment. Pay Rate: $21.15 / Hour
Job Schedule:
What You'll Do:
- Provide exceptional customer service at a front desk location within a healthcare setting, following site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
- Greet patients, families, visitors, and staff; provide directions and assist with visitor check-in, access procedures, and credential verification as assigned.
- Monitor entry activity, visitor flow, and security-related systems from a stationary post; report unusual activity, access concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
- Maintain accurate visitor, incident, and access-related documentation while communicating professionally with healthcare staff, patients, families, and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
