As a Security Officer Reception Check In in Asbury Park, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while supporting security-related procedures and clear communication. Pay Rate: $19.65 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Operate the front desk by greeting visitors, verifying access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with established protocols.
• Monitor entry activity, visitor logs, and security-related systems, reporting unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and follow emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate front desk records and communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
