What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a secure atmosphere within the healthcare environment.
- Communicate and collaborate with Allied Universal supervisors, client representatives, and public response personnel as needed.
- Assist with access control procedures, verify credentials, and provide directions or assistance to staff, patients, and visitors as appropriate for the healthcare setting.
Minimum Requirements:
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
