As a Security Officer - Petrochemical Site in Madison, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a PATROL_UNARMED professional with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards specific to chemical and petrochemical locations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or irregularities as required by site protocols.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and/or incidents.
• Assist with access control procedures for employees, visitors, and contractors in accordance with location guidelines.
• Remain alert to environmental and operational conditions unique to chemical and petrochemical locations, and respond as directed by site instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
