Security Officer - Perimeter Walking Patrol

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Walking Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support tenants and visitors with professional customer service, clear communication, and timely reporting. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access issues, disturbances, and property-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, building exteriors, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance concerns.
• Monitor assigned areas for unusual activity and/or policy violations, and promptly report observations to property management and/or dispatch per post orders.
• Complete required documentation such as patrol logs and incident reports, and communicate updates using site communication systems according to post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
