Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol

As a Security Officer - Perimeter Patrol in Saint Helena, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage production location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or badge activity, and use a computer or tablet to document observations and communicate clearly. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel, drivers, and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct routine and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking lots, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or property damage.
• Monitor access points and manage entry processes, including checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining logs, and directing deliveries to designated receiving areas.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports, and perform basic monitoring of cameras and/or other site systems in accordance with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
