Security Officer - Patrol

As a Security Officer - Patrol in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol professional supporting a government location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will embody our agile, reliable, and innovative approach while putting people first, working with integrity and teamwork to support daily operations and a welcoming environment.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and/or public agencies as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter grounds to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with entry procedures, directions, and basic inquiries while following site protocols and reporting issues to appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations by preparing reports, recording incidents, and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and/or site representatives regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
