Security Officer - Patrol

As a Security Officer - Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a team that puts people first and brings an innovative approach to every shift.

Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and appropriate emergency response support at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with supervisors and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help maintain authorized access in accordance with site policies and procedures.
• Support day-to-day operations by reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations, while helping to deter unauthorized activity and disruptions on the property.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
