Security Officer Patrol with Active Clearance

As a Security Officer Patrol with Active Clearance in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a secure environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to site needs, and deliver strong customer service and communication while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify entry authorizations in accordance with site protocols, helping to support restricted area control and visitor processing.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of patrol activity, incidents, and/or maintenance or security-related concerns, and relay important information during shift handoff.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
