As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including exterior areas, perimeter points, access areas, and other designated spaces where conditions may vary.
• Monitor access activity by checking identification, verifying entry authorization, and documenting visitor, contractor, and/or delivery information in accordance with site protocols.
• Support security-related operations within an industrial chemical location by reporting hazards, suspicious activity, equipment concerns, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
