Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic utilities location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $12.36 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout utility facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, contractors, and visitors, following site protocols for access control, credential checks, and/or visitor processing.
• Support security-related operations at the location by communicating clearly with team members, assisting with routine inspections, and maintaining accurate logs and reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
