As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist in Talladega, AL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions, and report security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing required logs, reports, and/or other assigned duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site expectations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
