As a Security Officer Patrol Specialist I in Pearl City, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, members, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions that could impact daily operations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or unusual behavior.
• Support loss prevention awareness by helping to identify suspicious activity, assisting with crowd and traffic flow, and communicating with site contacts during routine and unusual events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
