As a Security Officer - Patrol Services in York, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech location as an unarmed patrol officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help support a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine rounds, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, assist with access control, and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, work areas, parking areas and perimeter spaces, adjusting for varying site conditions.
• Control access as assigned by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or credentials, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in points.
• Document observations, patrol activity, incidents and/or policy violations in written reports and required logs, and communicate relevant updates to supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
