As a Security Officer - Patrol Rounds in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and post orders, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Control access to the location by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests and vendors to the proper check-in process.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and promptly reporting issues through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, and the perimeter, documenting observations and reporting maintenance concerns or unusual activity.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and communication systems as assigned, complete accurate logs and incident reports, and coordinate with on-site personnel and/or public responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1 years’ law enforcement experience or 2 years’ security supervisor/manager experience or 3 years’ security experience.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
