Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this people-first role, you will support a caring environment through clear communication, teamwork, reliability, and integrity while using an agile approach to daily responsibilities.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observed conditions, hazards, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support traffic flow, parking control, and/or lobby activity based on site needs.
• Document incidents, daily activity, and/or irregularities in required reports, and communicate relevant information with Allied Universal supervisors and onsite contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
