As a Security Officer Patrol Response in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to supervisors, site contacts, and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare clear reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities, and support security-related operations for a manufacturing and industrial location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
