Security Officer - Patrol Response Team

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Response Team in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, completing routine rounds and maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms and calls for assistance, observe and report unusual activity, and support staff, patients, and visitors with professional customer service and clear communication. You will deliver through teamwork while acting with integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out Allied Universal and site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including calling for assistance, documenting observations, and notifying site leadership per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with visitor check-in, directions, and general site assistance.
• Complete timely reports, incident logs, and shift handoffs, and use site systems such as radios, phones, and/or basic computer tools to communicate security-related information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 years of security experience.
• Be 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
