As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in Sunnyvale, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service, support access awareness, and communicate clearly with guests and staff. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and other security-related policies for a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout storefront areas, common areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor assigned areas for policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or unsecured access points, and document observations through detailed activity and incident reports.
• Support opening, closing, and after-hours activities by helping to control access, checking designated areas, and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or security-related issues to the appropriate contact.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
