As a Security Officer Patrol Monitor in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support daily operations through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a caring, reliable, and innovative environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with management and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, entrances, corridors, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor assigned areas for security-related issues such as unauthorized access, loitering, and/or suspicious behavior, and report concerns according to site procedures.
• Support daily operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and helping to address customer service concerns while maintaining awareness of security-related conditions at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
