As a Security Officer - Chemical Facility Patrol in Boyertown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical or petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a professional presence. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. This is a driving post, so operating a vehicle is part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and report any unusual or suspicious activity within the chemical and petrochemical location.
• Assist with emergency response activities, including following evacuation or containment procedures as directed.
• Prepare and submit reports on daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and site personnel regarding security-related matters and observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
