Security Officer - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Lobby Desk Driver in San Rafael, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location as a Front Desk Officer, where you will welcome residents and guests, manage access and badges, and support security-related operations through clear communication and attentive service. This is a driving post, so qualified candidates should be comfortable meeting driving requirements. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and communicating entry procedures in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and escalate matters to property management and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
• Answer phones, manage incoming inquiries, and support front desk operations by documenting activity, reporting unusual conditions, and completing required security-related records.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions by maintaining a visible front desk presence and following residential community policies and post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
