Security Officer Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in Harlingen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal officer in a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. This is a driving and armed post, ideal for someone who values teamwork, strong communication, and integrity while helping to support a welcoming environment for customers, staff, and visitors.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail grocery location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts, assist with access control needs, and/or address customer and associate concerns.
• Support closing and opening activities as assigned, help maintain order during busy periods, and/or follow post instructions for alarms, deliveries, and other security-related site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
