As a Patrol Officer at Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by patrolling retail and mall locations, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for guests and tenants, working as part of a reliable and innovative team that always puts people first.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential hazards within the location.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address security-related concerns.
• Assist visitors, tenants, and/or customers with directions or general inquiries as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document all incidents and/or irregularities according to Allied Universal and site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
