Security Officer - Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Patrol Driver - Government in Beech Grove, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong and visible presence. This is a driving post, where you'll provide exceptional customer service and clear communication, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activities within the premises to support a secure environment.
• Document and report any suspicious behavior, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with local authorities and/or emergency responders when required, following established protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disruptions and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
